I have been creative all my life. I loved drawing as a child and continued to explore different arts through the years. I have been an art quilter, an award winning plush toy maker and now a painter. I am a self taught artist with a passion for bright bold colors. I prefer to paint intuitively with no preconceived idea when I start a painting. I like to step into the painting with an open heart and mind and watch what evolves as I go. I create from within from a place of love and joy. Nature, the figure and animals are prominent in my works. Over the last several years I have been exhibiting in and around Austin in juried exhibitions and group shows. In 2013, I had a painting published in a book called "Illustrated Quotes" by Lesley Riley. I'm currently represented by Off the Walls Gallery in Shelton, Washington.
